Source to Facility

Our process protects what nature perfected.

A closed loop, from bedrock to glass. The aquifer, the land above it, and the bottling facility beside it are all ours. No brokers, no third-party co-packers. The water is sealed at the well and stays untouched until it is bottled.

The Descent

What the water passes through before we see it.

A confined aquifer is sealed above by rock the surface cannot get through. The layers below are the filter, and the pressure they hold is what brings the water up on its own.

Surface
Protected woodland

REALM owns the land above the aquifer. No agriculture, no development, no runoff entering the recharge zone.

Confining layer
Glacial till

A low-permeability seal that isolates the formation below from anything happening at the surface.

Filtration
Fractured bedrock

Dolomitic and quartzite rock. Decades of slow contact is where the mineral character and the natural pH of 8.0 come from.

The aquifer
Confined, artesian

Water held under positive pressure. It rises on its own when the well is opened, so nothing has to be pumped or forced.

The bottle
Filled at the source

A short sealed run from the wellhead into glass, untouched the whole way. That is the entire journey.

The Water Report

Know exactly what you are drinking.

Every batch is tested by independent third-party laboratories. We publish the results in plain language: what we tested for, what we found, and what it means.

The REALM bottling facility, built beside the artesian well in the Adirondacks

The Facility

Built beside the well, not an ocean away.

Most premium water is extracted in one place and bottled in another, trucked to a co-packer or shipped in from overseas. We built our production facility beside the source instead. The water rises under its own artesian pressure, travels a short sealed run to our filling hall, and enters glass without a broker or a second set of hands.

Inside the facility

For those who value purity, exceptional taste, and the elevated experience of premium glass.
